ECS is located in Charlotte, NC and is under the leadership of two co-directors John Larkin and Brian Mock. Both directors started as sales engineers in this industry in the mid 1990’s
ECS has two software suites: ECS View™ and RetroSpek™. ECS View™ is typically used for large systems with multiple cameras distributed across an entire manufacturing process while RetroSpek™ is a single screen interface that is utilized for smaller scale monitoring and recording applications. All systems are built from standard off-the-shelf computer technology with a GigE camera front end. Adopting the GigE camera platform allows our solution be 100% free of any specialized computer hardware (no frame grabbers) while providing a full range of camera resolutions and frame rates. All video is stored ‘real-time’ to the storage device with user selectable compression to the recording processing core.
